Ordinance Corner

By Lois Silva

Beginning December 1 you may renew your dog license for the 2015 year. The cost for licenses for neutered or spayed dogs is $10; $20 for non-altered animals.

Meanwhile, the City has a new section on the cityofpayette.com web site. We created a section for impounded dogs. Go to the home page and then click on the link on the left titled “Impounded Dogs.” You will see information and photos of the strays. If anyone is interested in adopting any of the featured dogs.
Call Ordinance Officer Silva at (208) 739-5994. The only cost for adopting is that a city license is required if the dog is adopted within City limits.
