We need musical Bell Ringers

The Chapel Bells, of Ontario, Oregon, has been a bell-ringing choir for a couple of years.

We need three ringers (who can read music) and also a director. The group is non-denominational, and we have been able to use bells in the past owned by Bethany Presbyterian Church, Ontario, at 1712 West Idaho. Practices have been Thursdays 5:30-7:30pm there.

Community or religious services are enhanced by the bell ringing, especially at Christmastime and Easter.

However, without a director, and being short on players, we won't be able to continue playing without more players joining with real commitment to the practices and goals.

It is essential that ringers be able to read music, know how to count rththm and understand musical markings. It is fun working with the bells, and learning different ringing techniques.

If you've wanted to try something New, or need something more in your life, we invite you to call us. Karen Wilson 208-452-3413, or J'Deane Edvalson
